Hi everyone,
Just want to let ya'll know there is alot of support and info out there for the slightly confused and or questioning ones who need to be steered in the right direction.
I'm a 63 y.o. FTM who finished transitioning in 1997.
I didn't have the courage until I was 34 to even start, because of family (mostly). But then I finally figured out that this is MY life, and what I do with it is pretty much MY business! So I was Off like a heard of turtles!
It's deffinently the best thing I've ever done for myself, and I couldn't be happier now that I'm finally who I was ment to be.
Keep on keeping on......you make it!
Regards, Rick

Hi Rick, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 7579 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

Hi Rick,
A big Aussie welcome and congratulations to Susan's family. It's really good to hear from someone who has been on the other side of Paradise and is totally enjoying the experience and lifestyle.
A really big thanks for coming back and letting us know. You are an inspiration to many.
I hope you have settled into the masculine domain with ease. As I assume you would have intended to do that at some particular time in your journey. After all it must relieve all the stress completely, being in the society of your chosen gender. Have you managed to 'spit' well? . Sorry. mixing with the building trade occasionally, that's all they appear to do. Well at least here in Oz.
Look forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, however in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi Snowman,
You can have that hope you wish for. It's only a decision away. It's quite simple really. You just have to tell yourself, "I can do this". After all, others have, and still survived.
Be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs

Hi Rick! I was trampled by a stampede of turtles once. My life flashed before my eyes. Then a couple of movies, I read "War and peace" made a quilt, etc etc. Welcome to Susans! Hugs, Devlyn
