Ask Matt: Seeking International Friendship and Support

A reader writes: "I'm twenty-four years old and a pre-op transman from a small European country (the name of the country has not been published at the writer's request). I have tried the few local LGBT-support places, but haven't really felt comfortable with them. The closest support group is also an hour away.

[...]

"Only a few of my Internet-friends know about my gender issues. I can talk to them about it, but there isn't much they can say back, and I fear that I'm seen as the 'attention-seeking whiny guy who never has anything else to say.'

"Do you know any international trans-support webpages or something like that, where I could chat with someone or e-mail or something?  I have been searching and don't know where to look anymore."
