Title: Curiosity's feelgood theme (Demo)

Usually I won't post early drafts of works in progress but today I'm so excited I can't contain myself and thus I have to share. Yesterday I had set aside for composing music, so I plopped down in my studio with a big cup of coffee, but before I started I checked out Phil Plaits blog and saw this amazing picture:

Hopped up on caffeine with the picture in mind I started working and about 10 hours later I had come up with this:
It's so far a rough draft with few details and no fine fancy mixing so the sound is still a bit bland but I think what has come out so far has come out really well. I used Ableton Live Lite and 3 plugins to make this. Live Lite is very restricted with only 8 tracks but it is perfect for working on ideas because one is forced to keep it simple and focus on making the few elements as good as possible (as a matter of a fact most of the composing was done on post-it notes) There's actually only 42 bars of music in there but I doubled it up because I feel it's the kind of theme one usually wants to hear more than once. All the details and variations I will deal with later :)

I would like to hear the piece, but it will not respond by clicking the play button. Do I have to do something else to enter Soundcloud?

Thanks! Of course, I had to favorite it so it will play when I'm listening to my favorites. :)
