Yes. I would just make sure to disinfect the bath before and after. And spend some time (10-20min) air-drying afterwards before putting clothes over the surgical site.
Edit: And no bubble bath or anything like that. Don't add anything to the water.

By all means take a bath but I wouldn't sit in the bath for longer than 12 minutes.

http://www.sexchangecenter.com/Operative/Stage1.php (http://www.sexchangecenter.com/Operative/Stage1.php) says two weeks and I had my first bath after two weeks.
give hte bath and any clth/spong/brush a good washing in hot wate and disinfectant so there are no bugs about then fill the bath with water that should be hot enough to be fairly sterile and then cool it down to comfort level and do a gentle washing of the outside without letting much water inside shouldn't do any harm.
keep your legs closed most of the time and water won't get inside much.
but just to be sure I gave myself a betadine douche after I stood up.

I would always er on the side of what your surgeon recommends. I can't remember what mine said.
Just aside Noey...12 minutes? That is pretty precise. What happens at 13 minutes ??? Whatever it is I am sure it has a lot to do with a big ball of timey wimey stuff ;) (you crack me up lady)

I took my first bath as soon as the stent was pulled, like 4 days after surgery, it was good. The trouble with me is that I had trouble peeing after the surgery, and at the time I couldn't get myself to go. When I jumped into that bath though - AHHHH what a relief, hee hee. Sorry, I don't normally pee in the tub but I had been unable to go for 16 hours and the bath really helped. I don't see anything wrong with bathing after a few weeks post op, just apply disinfectant afterwards I guess.

Just take a shower first to make sure the rest of you is clean first. You don't want all the extra stuff in the bath water with you. I always do this before taking a bath.

I got a major infection from taking a bath post-surgery. Don't forget that your feet may not be clean when you enter the bath.
It should be safe after 7 weeks, however. At the two month mark you are supposed to be less antiseptic in your approach in order to develop and keep vaginal flora.
