Title: Conclusion to my brick throwing thread.....
Post by: PHXGiRL on August 31, 2012, 10:45:00 PM
Well we deleted my last thread on the topic but wanted to let you ladies know the conclusion. Just as I thought after researching her mixed time-table it was all a lie!

She texted me today and said:

"I decided I'm keeping the baby. I got a ultrasound done this afternoon and I'm not as far along. Only 9 weeks so you're off the hook. Now we can each others numbers".

I'm willing to bet if I run into her again in the future she will tell me she had a miscarriage. This woman is nuts. I'm so glad to not be with her anymore. I am thankful that she gave me the strength to come out and finally have the courage to transition.

Wondered about that.  I'm not exactly going to say congrats but I'm glad you can feel better now.  I'm also glad that I can trust my instincts as this story turned out much as I expected.  Anyway, remember the lessons and move forward smartly.  You don't necessarily have to swear off anything but you probably should take a break for a while and get your transition settled.  Focus on the good and important things you have now and make the most of them before expanding your horizons.

I feel rather lucky I was never romantically or physically involved with the friend I mentioned before because they are the poster child for Borderline Personality Disorder.  Look it up - it's rather scary.  It may have even applied to your ex-fiance.  It was a big wake-up call for me because I thought I understood people until I got to know my friend really well and the rollercoaster of a life she led.

Perhaps our experiences can be a useful lesson for others to be just a bit more careful about choosing friends/partners and assessing their motives.  Also remember always to look after your own wellbeing first and foremost.  Lastly, spontaneity is good, impulsiveness is bad - A fine line to toed carefully.

Overall I gather you're a good person and you'll make the most of your life lessons.  All the best to you in future.

Congratulations, Serena.  If one can say that.  (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-7.gif&hash=9f27f1603b9ef76a5d4bbeedcd1615f680c36e8b)

It will be interesting to find out.

She didn't, it was inside you all along, because you're still going even when she's not around. :)

*hugs*
