Title: Greetings! My name is Albina.
Post by: Albina on September 13, 2012, 10:39:04 PM
Hello dear all!

I am Albina, and I am finally here to join your forum since I like it. I am a TS MtF, 9 months on HRT which is going really good for me, since my dream come true and I am mostly taken for a "Miss" even in unisex clothes. I am living full time as a girl now, which feels wonderful - I now feel it is really me!

Hi Chicky.  It is nice to have a few female characteristics now.
After being teased and bullied as a teenager because I didn't look like a guy, not having an Adam's Apple, it is great to be able to take advantage of it.  A female friend who knows several other transwomen remarked on it, and told me it was a definite female visual cue.

Karen.

Hi Albina, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8230  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

Hi Albina and welcome to Susan's. So happy that you've joined us. What kind of music do you play?

:)

Thanks much for the welcome to all!

Hello Karen!
Yes, you are right, and it is finally my time to take advantage of it. From my childhood I remember people on the streets saying to my parents "What a nice girl you have!", and I responded angrily "I am not a girl, I am a boy!" Though I felt happy they called me that. But at school I was never teased, may be because I was respected for being sportive and a leader musician in our band.

Hi Gennee! Previously I played any kind of music people asked me to play, but nowadays I am more into the studio work and my favorites are the style of Shakatak, Roxette and ABBA. I love female vocals - they win!

Wow, I remember something like that happening to me too when I was around 11 - a cute young Aussie taxi driver asked my mum whether I was "a fella or a little maid" - I reacted cross out loud, but was secretly wishing for it to be so :).
