I just realized a new benefit of HRT - large (actually so far it's pretty much complete) reduction in my pimples. I know it's supposed to soften the skin, but this is an added bonus.
Anyone else have a reduction in oily skin?

Wait til winter... you will wish it was a little oilier. My skin got so dry and cracked last winter that I thought I had an allergic reaction to something and I live in Louisiana!!

I live in a rather dry, arid area and never had much for oily skin, I have to moisturize daily or I get dry flaky skin especially on my chin and hands
The winters are the worst, even though it rains and snows and gets cold as ever it's a dry cold and if I don't use hand cream etc. my hands will crack and bleed

I already have a very nasty reaction to cold weather, probably because I was a smoker since early highschool (don't smoke anymore though).
FYI, zombie hands can be disturbing, click at your discretion:

Mine turn totally white and then purple when they finally start to warm up. Feels -awful- while they're numb. It happens either from cold or anxiety attacks.

Ah yes. Raynaud's phenomenon. I have it too. And once they go white, when they warm up it is so painful. And I still smoke so it is much worse.

Yes, clearer skin is often a benefit from MtF hormone therapy.
