Ok, so I'm thinking about seeking an orchi in the near-ish future. I'm in the Seattle area, and can travel say, 500 miles in any direction on land.
I've been on HRT for about 7 months now...what do you suggest? Wait for more time to have passed? Do I need letters? It'd be better for insurance purposes if there was a "medical" reason for this, do you know if being trans is a medical enough reason? (Hormone levels are all good right now)
Anyway, I'm all curious about this. The "boys" are just about useless as tits on a warthog right now...(otoh, my unit's "mascot" in the .mil was a warthog...and I have tits...so...LOL)...and I'm getting to the point where I just want them gone.
Any info, advice, opinions, etc is appreciated and read. Thanks!!

Dr. Tuan A. Nguyen in Lake Oswego OR. He did mine. Fairly inexpensive ($1500) when I had mine done. He did require letter(s), but just drop him a email (drtuannguyen@comcast.net). His office manager, Russann, is quick to respond.

I'm not keen on pain...how was your experience like? Local/general, could you sit after a day or two, etc? Recovery time (i.e., back to work in...?)

I rode home the day of the surgery. Local, and not much in the way of pain. He did give me pain pills, but I used them for my back.
I had a check up at about 10 days and was back to work.

Cool, sounds doable. (I thought about my first reply this morning...and realized for $1500 it's very likely a local...D'Oh! ::) For that much, if you wanted a general it'd be a shot of whiskey and Bubba's fist to your noggin. )
