I have to think there are deeper issues here for those who would prevent transgender people from using the women's washrooms. But I can only speculate . . . I do wish, though, that they would come clean about it, because their "crime" propaganda is just too silly.
I'm speculating that people who are opposed to transgender folks using the ladies' room really want to stamp out ->-bleeped-<-. They want everyone to fit neatly into the binary gender system? ....
Thing is, this whole issue is somewhat moot: there is no way to know what is between someone's legs when they enter a washroom. And I can't see Want Ads ever being posted for washroom penis/vagina inspectors.
We could go round and round with this somewhat absurd discussion. The fact of the matter, though, is that some Members of Parliament are trying to deny equal rights to transgender people, using the toilet as a pretense. It's sick.
