What is the difference between just big male boobs and actual female breasts. I have seen pictures of guys who have boobs bigger than mine now--no hormones, no desire to have a female body or gender presentation, so I'm just kinda wondering what makes a male boob a female breast. I'm sure it is once the milk ducts and glands begin to form, I'm guessing male boobs don't have those. But how do you know when those have formed?
Do you think a MTF can ever have actual female breasts or will it always just be enlarged breasts?
And I don't know, maybe I'm looking at this wrong. Perhaps someone can help me understand this then.

If you are under 65 chances are it is mostly fat, provided you do not have an endocrine disease.
If you are 65 or older, most male would develop some grandular tissue.
If you are a MTF in HRT, you growing breast will have glandular tissue and fat.
So yeah, to answer you question, the difference between man boobs, and MTF or female boobs, is the presence of glandular tissue (mammary tissue) in the MTF breast.
In addition most females have an aerola 1 3/4 inches in diameter, and their nipple is usually bigger than 15 mm

"Man boobs" are mostly fat and don't really have much shape to them unless they have gynecomastia where there is some breast tissue due to hormone imbalance.
Female breasts are a combination of breast and glandular tissue combined with fat and tend to have actual shape and firmness. Estrogen is what causes breast and glandular tissue to develop.

I still wonder what do I have. 5 years ago I got really worried about moobs showing up when trying to put a decent posture, and three years ago I started going to the gym to kill them. Now, after losing 9 kilos, they are still there. They don't bounce any more when I go down the stairs, but there is no way to kill them, and I have little fat left to lose.

Fat is very soft and squishy, breast tissue is kind of firm and rubbery. The only way to get rid of breast tissue is with surgery.

Nah, I'm OK with them, just a tiny bit of form probably caused by weight lifting . At any rate, I have the smallest ones at the gym. Most of the guys there would need a bra after so much exercising.

Moobs are mostly just fat, sumo wrestlers have huge moobs. Males who are obese can actually have some small glandular development behind all the moob lard, because excess fat in males tends to store naturally occurring estrogens. If you are taking estrogens you should have a gland mass developing behind the nipple.
Boobs develop as the glandular mass under the nipple grows. You can determine if you have either moobs or boobs by standing in front of a mirror without a top on and raising your arms above your head. The lump behind your nipple is the breast gland mass, if you don't have any then it's just fat.

My areolae and nipples are definitely not 1 3/4 and 15mm. More like 15mm for the areola and 4mm for the nipple.
Lol.
