Title: Second Type Woman
Post by: SilentArchitect on October 31, 2012, 11:37:08 AM
I found this the other day, thought I'd share the link.  ;D

Edit: Link contains nudity.

That's a very good point. We have a number of members here who have been incredibly successful.

But at the end of the day, it's about attitude as much as anything else.

I haven't been to that site in years and it's good to see it's still around. While all her ideas may not exactly fit mine or yours, the site does offer the newbie a lot of worthwhile info that wasn't available elsewhere back in '02 or so when it was created. The proliferation of pics with the names of many of other people in them is also a good feature. I've actually corresponded with the transwoman who created Second Type and thanked her for putting all this info out for everyone to access. Since creating the site, she's married and settled into a pretty normal life as I understood it, and hasn't written on TG matters in years.

Thanx, SA. I'll read it later for sure.
I was wondering if such an article existed.
Mmm... breasts... want... them... on... me... now!
Just kidding: going through a breast formation looks like fun
(I even have something to work with, mine are too big for any biological male).

EDIT: read it today. Very informative.
It made me happy that I already possess Tanner Stage III breasts.
That prior to any sort of hormone therapy, I'm not even on
testosterone blockers yet

I found it interesting x

when I started transition I found that site very informative, but it also made me feel quite depressed because all the information there said I'd never pass.  Looking back now it really does seem quite pessimistic about ones chances of passing or getting good development.

SilentArchitect

Very late in my life in the last few years with education via the internet after a primal scream I had finally made me realize my mind is female I spent this past summer coming out to my gp  that I am transgender, explored things with an Endo, found a community transgender program but a one to two year wait list, with my being flat chested, if I got on hrt only I may not get much more than a breast bud, may take several years to happen I began to accept it is just too late to go for non surgical transition. Your post with pics of people with only buds at approximately my age of 71, this confirms I am right to stop pursuing transition. I will just have to be Happy with dressing as a lady which I have done off & on throughout my life and almost daily in the last ten years that I have been retired.

Thanks for your interesting post.

Jamie

Okay, I have to say that the warning was inadequate. Holy tits! I've never seen so many breasts on one page.

Anywho, I frankly don't care about having big breasts. As long as I get so much as a bud, I'll be fine. Big breasts just seem like too much to handle (get your minds out of the gutter, I'm talking about posture!).

Breasts are overrated. My aunt had DD's and she got sick of them and got a reduction. Says it was the best decision she ever made.

I never understood why straight guys // lesbians like breasts so much, though. Just a couple of fat sacs. Who cares?

nice post, Ms. Architect!

Am I out of line if I ask you if you're an architect in the real world?

Not in building terms, but I'm a music producer / singer songwriter. Thought the name was relevant lol. x

That's too bad, the thing is, I'm an architect (brick and mortar) and was hopeful to talk to a fellow colleague.

On the other side, I'm sort of a musician myself, when I was younger I was involved in a Ska band (Hahahahaha, ska!, In my defense it was the 90s though) that had moderate success down south in the Americas, in the non English speaking world.

anyhow, cool screen name though.

take care!

Lol, secondtype woman, I haven't seen that site in forever. It's informative, but I kinda view it as a pandora's box: once you go through the whole site, you can't unlearn what you read. Sometimes I think it's good not to dig so deep into male/female differences like skeletal stuff and all that, it can make you paranoid and give you body image issues. With that said, it's one source of information, and some people like having a bunch of different views on things. I certainly looked for a lot of different resources when I transitioned and went through the whole 2ndtype site.

The Grand Canyon is just a ditch. Roses are just reproductive organs. A Lamborghini is just a pile of metal. And yet... like breasts, there all something much more, too.   ;)

Meghan, you touch upon something that often saddens me about many transgender folks (as does that website). That is the tendency to feel inadaquate because of physical characteristics that can't be changed. I think we'd all be better off looking at ourselves as an artist sees a creation. You create to a certain degree, but beyond that you find ways to celebrate the existing material, rather than hiding or ignoring it. I think the happiest TG persons are not imitators or emulators, but creators of their distinct selves.

Alright, I understand that people like breasts, just not why.

Anywho, I felt that it is a darn shame that trans girls feel like they have to succumb to the pressure of having big breasts. I watched the channels of some trans girls on Youtube and once said person makes a video about her breast augmentation, you instantly notice a huge difference as though she stuffed cantaloupes in her bra. It just sucks that some girls feel that they needs to put dangerous silicon sacks in their chests. I would rather just stuff my bra with some socks than do that.

I'm a tall girl and hope to get legit B cup breasts when the time comes.  I don't think I want the stares that come with larger breasts and clothes become much harder when you add bust room along with sleeve length, etc to the issues.

I've basically taken the cues from my partner, she's at least a D cup and had numerous complaints.

Any kind of Genre is good, as long as the tune is good ;0)

By the sounds of it ur band must have been good to have success.

Its a shame this forum doesn't let you upload photos like FB, any music and stuff x

I'm in complete agreement with you there. I love breasts of all sizes, but I'd rather have a pair of cute mosquito bites than huge artificial looking implants. Quality trumps quantity, for sure.
