OK then it seems we have a few fans of Joy Division/New Order, the world greatest and most influential music group of the last 30 years. (Note that this is not open to discussion as it is a fact) ;D
Why do you love them,
How many times have you seen them
How long have you followed them
etc the list is too long, so feel free to go for it.
I love them as they never sold out to the music industry under factory records and set the standards that everyone followed, this is why they could do what they did and not compromise.
They created the modern club scene with the Hacienda, remixes and took them selves from post punk hold-outs to modern alternative dance rock pioneers.
I have only seen them once on their very few trips to OZ. This was when they started playing Joy Division songs again after over 20 years of silence after the death of Ian Curtis.
I first heard them in the early 80's at boarding school, song was The Perfect Kiss 12 inch single.
Favourite song is to hard to list. Subculture, True Faith/Paradise remix, Your silent face, Some one like you & She's lost control.
I have I think been able to collect almost all their music including the many hard to find remixes which has been a challenge.
Most of their music has not dated nd still sounds fresh even after 25 years.
Feel free to post about Joy Division New Order.

I've been following them since the late 80's, seen them a bunch of times and I've also seen Peter Hook's solo project The Light. He did Unknown Pleasures the first time I saw him and Closer the second time. Both were awesome shows. The Unknown Pleasure one wasn't publicized for some reason and there was only about 200 people there, it was amazing.

I love Joy Division and know a lot of their lyrics by heart. I wish I'd been born earlier so I could have followed some of my favourite bands, I read this Nick Cave biography the other day and it mentioned how The Bad Seeds had been meeting Bauhaus and stuff, it really made me want to have experienced that.

I love them both, but I can enjoy any Joy Division song. New Order only has a select few that I like. "Isolation" being my favorite

My favorite New Order songs are Blue Monday, Bizarre Love Triangle, and True Faith; I haven't seen them in concert though :(

I'm a fan, but probably a relative beginner to many! I was part of the generation who only really found NO via the Get Ready album (yes, I realise that puts me in a VERY specific age bracket... lol).... JD were little but a name to me, but now, I have a lot of love for both configurations.
Favourite album by either is probably Low-life and fave song.... Well, maybe it's just because I just mention Low-life, but Love Vigilantes holds a very special place in my heart. :)
