Title: Trying to get home

I wouldn't generally ask for help, but I feel like I'm missing some option and/or desperate. By January 1st, I have to find a place to live or be homeless. I've found a place with a friend back in Minnesota until I can get back on my feet. But I don't have the funds to get there. I've asked friends, family to borrow the money, without any luck. I tried talking to social services, not only for any programs to earn a viable ticket but, if I can't make it back, housing. Neither is available. I'm going to call greyhound today, maybe for some ideas.

I'm just really at a lost. When I got married, I gave up a lot of my resources. I'm hoping someone has been there and maybe has some idea on what to do?

I'm sorry but I don't have any advice for you. All I can do is offer to keep you in my prayers. I hope everything works out for you.

Thank you, Brooke. It means a lot, and something must have worked, because even though Greyhound didn't work out, I did find a side job to doing some welding. I'll be home by Monday. :)
