Hello! My name can be Sierra and it can be Andes and I really think I prefer...uh...well. Causing confusion. Just call me Andes, 'kay? I'm 18, about to be 19 in January and have always been rather curious in terms of gender but only recently have gotten upset enough about it to do anything about it. Sadly, I live in Texas and while my college campus is pretty much as accepting as it's going to get, there still aren't a lot of people I can go to with my questions...So I thought it be wise to join an online community. Plus! Who doesn't like making friends, right? :DD
I'm a very friendly person who loves discussing the philosophical side of anime, cosplays like a champ, and gets upset when commercials are offensive. So. You know. The kind of guy you don't take to the movies. =w=;; I have a wonderful and understanding girlfriend who has been with me for almost three years and doesn't really notice or care about the difference between female and male. <3 And! I'm really looking forward to just bumming around this forum and making a nuisance of myself~
I suppose you could call me gender questioning, but I'm not exactly tran. I'm just your simple, neighborhood crossdresser, really. Or. At least I'm trying. =w=;;

Hi Andes, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 9308 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Hi Andes! Welcome I have been dealing with similar issues lately. I have discovered that I am gender fluid. You may look into that it may be so with you as well.

Hi Andes, and welcome from southern California. Used to live in Dallas, though.
You will be able to help figure out who you are by interacting on the site. I would urge you to take advantage of any of your student health center benefits, in terms of gender counseling, if those are available.

Hi everyone! Thanks for such a warm welcome!! :D I really appreciate it.
To Diana: How could I have forgotten Hola? Forgive me! I'm a terrible Texan. xD
To Devlyn: Well then! I will just have to become a respectable member of society! Damn, I already put "nuisance" on my resume, too...
To Veritasinchains: Gender fluid? Hm. That's a new one! I'll have to look into it. Thank you. :D
To Jamie: I live really close to Dallas. :D My mom's from northern California. She tells me the whole state is pretty awesome. :) I have actually already seen my school counselor and was told about a LGBT support group. However, the T is very small in the group and I actually felt pretty awkward going, as I didn't feel like I was...I dunno..."T" enough? Besides, all the trans there are M to F. Ah...I should stop being so shy and try going next semester. Thank you for posting, though!

When you think that GLBT makes about 3.5% of the population, but T only makes up 0.3%, I can see why it is a small percentage of your local support group.
The T part (transgender) can include Mtf, FtM, Androgyne, Cross dressers, neutrois, pangenders, non-binaries, and just about anybody or anything that is not gender-conforming. By attending, you are actually giving the GLB population something to think about.
I was near Garland in the 1970s.

Oh yes, I know. And considering how hard it is to be "out" in Texas, geez, I'm surprised there are any Trans people at all. Probably why we need a support group, huh? xD
That's very true. I suppose I can get my questions answered here, at Susan's, and bring what I learn to my support group. :)
Oh yeah. Garland is pretty close to my home town.
