Title: Question?
Post by: lightningeyes91 on December 18, 2012, 06:13:24 AM
So recently my FTM boyfriend went through that time of the month again. This time is very hard. Which is completely understandable. This month was harder then others. I suggested that he go get the depo shot to eliminate this experience or at least minimize it. I'm even willing to go with and do it to even tho I'm deadly afraid of needles. And I said that I would do all of the talking knowing this would make him uncomfortable. Be was really excited at first I know not going to this every month would mean a lot to him. But when I started to make the appointment he told me to stop. I did when I asked him why he said he felt he was going to be judged by people but he still really wants to do it. I guess I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how I could help him feel more comfortable.

You could try telling him he is going to be judged by everyone anyway.

The question is, will be judge himself?

I'd personally say that if others judge him, that's their problem. He needs to do what's best for him, and it sounds like eliminating this distressing regular occurrence would help a lot.

I agree. He needs to get over what he thinks other people are thinking. It's none of their business.
