For me? weeks.
It varies a lot. I'm of a slim build and fit and go to the gym 3 x week. I noticed loss of muscle tone/strength quickly. I haven't noticed a loss in physical size but then I am slim. My weight bearing capacity would have dropped 30% ish in my upper body. No noticeable affect in the legs. Cardio is good and even better on HRT (which is normal).

The first month I lost a BUNCH of strength but I still had muscle tone. By the 3rd month I lost quite a bit of muscle but not enough to be acceptable. It wasn't til about my 10th or 11th month where I started looking good in a tank top.

I'm not really sure, myself. I haven't ever been terribly strong, and I can attribute some of my missing strength of late to the fact that I'm in worse shape in addition to the effects the hormones have on a body.
If I remember correctly, it was noticeable at around six months. I looked a bit leaner, and I knew I couldn't lift weight as well as I did prior to hormones.
The time will vary wildly. It depends on what you have and how you're made.

Honestly as you's say it vary's.. I've noticed my legs/thighs change in shape and def less tone..
Upper parts like arms are still tinge tone but not "manly" tone..
Been on hrt 6wks.. Skin is soo supple, Always had good skin all over, but WOOOW it's just beautiful, I'm soo very happy about this discovery.
Did any of you's notice changes to your torso as the months rolled by?? I don't really like mine, Like it's slim and all, just this look I've never really accepted, although obviously I live with. Soo yeaah did hormones or breast growth kinda alter your upper chest/torso??

Sorry for self quoting. I do now have problems lifting weights to out on the machines ( my gym is old but it is cheap) but guys are very willing to do so, I just ask. No seems put out but I've been at the same gym for years.
