Title: Trouble with the Bathroom
Post by: DreadLOX on December 20, 2012, 09:29:16 PM

I apologize in advance for this topic and it may be TMI for some, but since on T lately I've been really constipated. Is that from the T itself? I think I may not be drinking enough water and that's why but I'm not to sure. I'm not on any special diet or anything. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

I don't have an answer for your question, but here's a suggestion!

Fiber advance gummies are really tasty (I have a friend who asks to have some every time he comes over haha), and taking them regularly will only help!

Hmm... not sure on if it's from the T, but try incorporating more raw fruits/veggies into your diet.

It definitely shouldn't be from the testosterone, since testosterone is supposed to speed up your metabolism.
As others have implied, you're likely not getting enough fiber and or drinking enough water.
As for a personal recommendation, this stuff (http://www.barndadnutrition.com/fiber-dx-supplement) is pretty great.
I also recommend trying out Quest Bars if you're willing to try out a high fiber (and high protein) meal replacement/snack.

I doubt it's the T. I've had the squirts all day, lol.
I need cheese and you need some fiber rich greens.

Seems like it might. Just found this:
Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland does not make enough thyroid hormone. Symptoms: Early symptoms: Hard stools or constipation; Increased sensitivity to cold; Fatigue or feeling slowed down.
You might want to mention it to your doc.
