just saw the end of a french/german doc (on an art doc channel) about TS:
A girl said to her FtM friend, after the op: "now you can finally live!" The answer: "no, now I can finally die. Because my gravestone will say I was a man."

Very true,
I mentioned this before, and I wish I knew who wrote it, but it goes like this...
On a gravestone you see two dates, born on... and died on..., separated by a dash. It's the dash that's the most imortant part.
