Title: How to slow her down (in a good way)
Post by: Button on December 23, 2012, 04:40:34 PM
Hey all, I've been lurking on this site for a while and I just have a small question to ask and any help will be greatly appreciated although I'm sure since we are all in a Christmas rush that could be asking to much.

Anywho I'm married to a beautiful m2f  :) and am in the fortunate position of entering the relationship with alot of honesty from my partner about who she is and her gender issues and her plan to be happy in herself and I love her more than anything combined.

OK I'm just ranting so here we go she has done a lot and I mean a lot for me and my family but she never stops to take care of herself. She runs a business and that was always part of her plan but always finds time for myself and our nearly two year old daughter. So in short she is always focused on us and our every need and want and I just feel like she might fall over in this turbo mode, so I just want suggestions to see whether I am over reacting or what I can do to lighten the load so to say.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think you're over reacting, I know plenty of people like your wife who put others before themselves all the time. I'm sure she'd love a bit of pampering every now and again so how about surprising her one day with a nice candle lit bath or doing her make up and hair for for her and a nice manicure? Something that is focused solely on her and gives her a breather. Just remind her that you love her and that she needs to take a break sometimes and be a bit selfish. The world will still carry on even if she takes a break for 5 minutes to relax.

A spa day for her.  Bubble bath.  A glasses of wine.  Mani/pedi.
