Title: Hungry, Hungry Hippo
Post by: Simon on December 28, 2012, 04:01:18 PM
Man, I just ate 3 chicken legs, a biscuit, mashed potatoes, and then three buffalo wings with fries that my gf had left on her plate.

Anyone know how long the "Moo-Moo Munchies" lasts when you're on T? I hope it evens out quick.

I rarely eat junk food and always cook at home but lately all I want is fried chicken from Bojangle's (popular restaurant in my State). After today I'm swearing off eating out...back onto just lean meats and vegetables. Dang, fried chicken is good though, lol.

I'm 1.5 months on T, and I'm just now getting used to the 'eat until you want to get sick, then snack' urge, haha. The hardest part for me is that I'm craving things I've never wanted to eat before. Specifically, I didn't eat meat until now. I still don't like it, but I can't help but nibble on a little of it. And every time I nibble some, I remember why I don't eat it  But I still can't help but want some. Must be the protein...

I've always been a meat eater but now even more so. My gf asked me what I want for dinner tonight. I want steak. She asked what sides do I want. More steak. om nom nom

20 months on T here and still have an insane appetite. I can't eat as much now since I've lost weight and get full faster but the appetite is definitely there. You get used to it eventually but it's tough. Exercising regularly helps so you can at least burn off some of those excess calories.

I was on T for a full year, starving until the day I stopped taking it,
And then once I went back on it about 3 weeks ago, It's started all over again.
You can either just give in to it, or fight it. But it bites something awful.

I don't think it ever goes down. I need to eat so much more than I did pre-T. Just thinking about the portions I need to eat to feel satisfied now, it's way different. I used to be able to eat like once a day and not get hungry. Now my body actually goes wonky if I don't eat a good amount of food every day. It's really hard to keep up with it... it's like all I do is eat and sleep.

This sounds like me (especially the steak bit- I'm a big fan of barely cooked meat), and I'm pre-T. Damn, I might have an issue XD

Luckily, my bear-like refrigerator foraging hasn't led me to be overweight. *knocks on wood and goes to work out*

Going against the grain a bit here... I've actually noticed no change in appetite whatsoever since starting T. Mind you that's probably a good thing. I spend enough on food as it is

Today I've eaten three chicken legs, a biscuit, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, three buffalo wings, french fries, steak, broccoli w/ cheese, a strawberry yogurt, a handful of Hershey kisses, a cup of hot cocoa, and now a bowl of vanilla ice cream w/ hot fudge. I feel like a fat ass, lol.

Haha, I like the title of this thread :p
My hunger soared from the first week on T, untill about a year on T, it came down. Now, I find it fluctuates alot, can get low, only eating twice a day, but it can get ridiculously high at times :p

I can't recall being really hungry. However, I've never been able to physically eat a ton of food so I don't think it would work the same for me.

I second this. My stomach will be a black hole on T, whenever I actually get to take it.

Okay I got a snack.

And yeah, my tastes have changed on T too.  I used to be a vegetarian.  Then one day at about 2 months I suddenly got an insatiable craving for a bloody steak and my diet immediately went out the window.

That is strange. I've always eaten meat (with veggies) but now all I want is meat.

Makes me wonder if T gives us low iron, protein levels, or something.

Perhaps you just need protein to build badass muscles? Eat up, dude.

Interesting. I've had a little more craving for meat but I still don't eat much of it. Only if cooked by the right person. Ah steak (and pork and chicken and...) cooked the Mexican way by a Mexican lover with all that spice...  :eusa_drool:
Even so, this is most certainly a pasta belly.

Teen boys are legendary in their appetite for food, food, and more food...they drink right out of the milk jug, take whole slabs of roast beef, and a common complaint heard by parents worldwide:

"He's gonna eat us out of house and home!!!"

"What do you have, a bottomless leg?!"

"OMG, he wants to have 5 of his friends over for the night...!"

Food. It's what young men eat. And they play a LOT of football and/or soccer, which burns off the food and develops muscles.
