Title: Feeling drained before a shot

I took my second shot on New Years eve (kinda funny it fell on that date "oh, the ball dropped. Here, stick this needle in my ass", lol.) and I had noticed about four days before my shot I just felt whooped. My Endo has been prescribing hormones for the better part of thirty years and she mentioned that this could be a possible side effect (along with mood swings, irritability, acne, etc). I guess I thought the drained feeling wouldn't be that bad but I felt like the energy was just zapped out of me.
Sufficed to say, I contacted her and now I am taking a shot every 10 days (we both think every week would be too much after a hysto) instead of every two weeks. Hopefully it will help with my energy level. Has anyone else experienced feeling really sluggish between injections? Did your shot schedule change? Was there any change noticed in your energy levels afterwards?
My first blood work appointment isn't until March (then next Endo appointment in April) and I am kinda worried that I will be taking too much. I'm paranoid about it being converted to E. Not really sure how to ease my mind about it either. Yep, I'm a spaz.

Rofl
In answer to the Q, I do my shot on Tuesdays. By Saturday-ish, I'm generally feeling a bit drained. The feeling persists through the weekend till the next Tuesday. I don't know why, but it's always been like that. It doesn't interfere with my productiveness, I just feel... dim. Like, high voltage, low amps :D I still have my normal strength, but I'm missing a bit of oomph. It isn't debilitating, I mean, I can still function fine, but I just really want a nap. I always just assumed it was because of lower T during those few days. It's not like it's evenly dispersed through the week, it's going to be more concentrated the first few days and it wanes as the week progresses. I figured it was just the 'waning' I was feeling.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting. Just tired feeling but guess I'm not used to it yet. Considering going on the patch for a maintenance dose once I can afford it in a couple of years just to see what difference there is in having a steady dose versus the highs and lows we experience with injections.

I do mine weekly which should help with mood swings as you generally avoid the highs and lows. I heard people who do them bi-weekly have more of an issue with that.

I started with bi weekly but I went to every 3 weeks cause my heart didn't like the hormonal changes I guess. My pulse got very quick, it's ok now. I didn't get mood changes before and neither now.

You mean drained like being tired and exhausted right? (just sure im getting it right)
before I was on Nebido I got abit more mood swings than I do now, but now im on Nebido and it have been pretty good so far and I only need to take it every 3 month.
I am currently 1-2 weeks late on my shot because we just had christmas and new year and all the doctors been closed down unless its very serious. I am to get it tomorrow but I can feel the diffrence now being late as im been very tired and had abit of moodswings like one of the days and I stopped smelling as bad as im used to LOL.
