Hey, I haven't been posting as much as of lately a lot of changes going around, some for better, some for worse. I won't bog you down with all of the specifics, I'll just give you a brief timeline.
Things That Have Happened:
- Became involved with long time crush
- I come out to him
- He swears time and time again, after avoiding my messages and finding excuses not to see me, that he wasn't in favor of me transitioning, but he supported me and it didn't bother him.
- I ignore him for about three days
- He finally admits to me that he was wierded out by me
- I break up with him
- He offers to buy me a binder as a olive branch
Things That Are To Happen:
- Going with my best friend Charlie (the only other one I'm out to) upstate to Albany to present a bill in a program called Youth and Government, that might get the chance to pass in the state government
- Getting an actual binder
Now with the last one, yes my ex offered to buy me one, but I refuse to take it, might be insane, and my damn pride holding me hostage. My opinion is I want to be as independant as possible from this person who had lied to me multiple times and held prejudices against me. What is your take on it?
My friend Charlie has been helping me alot, trying to figure out ways to help me get the binder. He has used a binder before because he is slightly overweight, so he is helping me pick out brands and what to look for.
Anyways, I also plan on crossdressing up there, that is why it is so crucial for me to get a binder. I have tried giveaways and charities, and no one, except one person to inform me the giveaway was over, has made any contact with me one way or another. So I jave given up on the charity of others.

Ray, wow...you've been busy! :) it sounds like your long time crush isn't as support as you'd like him to be. I can understand him needing time to 'process' the information....but ignoring your messages is just ridiculous. It sounds like you have a really good friend to support you. As far as letting your ex bf pay for your binder, that's up to you. Personally after he treated me that way, I wouldn't want to have anything to do with him....but if you don't have the money to buy the binder yourself, I guess you could take him up on his offer....depends on how badly you want it I guess. Good luck presenting your bill!

Thanks spring :), I know I will need all the luck I can get presenting. I wouldn'tbe able to get through this rough patch w/o my friend. And it doesn't help that my ex is a really sweet person I just believe he is misguided but he always stands strong in his beliefs, and I just can't have the negativity during this impressional time of me recognizing myself.

Ray, everyones entitled to their own beliefs and way of thinking.....but I agree you just don't need to be around that negativity! Be around positive, supportive people like your friend.
