Title: Are all gaffs created equal?

I have a regular gaff.  I have been interested in getting a Brazilian type gaff with a hiding tube.  Is a Brazilian type gaff superior to a regular gaff to so as to justify the expense or would my meager funds be better spent on other necessities?

No idea, but is the regular gaff doing it's job?  If so, then yeah, why not spend your $$$ elsewhere.

Thank you for your reply.  I had hoped to draw upon the experience of others and to put to bed the notion that the Brazilian type with a hiding tube was superior to a regular gaff.  Sometimes an idea gets in my mind and I simply can't put it aside until there is evidence one way or the other.  Perhaps I need a mind transformation more than a body transformation.
