I am pre everything but full-time, 6 foot and have a BMI of 21.5 so i'm a healthy weight and my waist is 29 is this average for someone of my height?

For a 6ft individual who still has a male body/hormones, 29" is very slender indeed. Even for a female of that height it's slim. It makes you a US Size 8 (medium) / UK size 12. Any 6ft cis girl who wasn't starving herself to look like a model (or be a model) would be doing very well to fit an 8.

If/when you go on hormones, you can reasonably expect to got down to 27-28 ins, which is great ... and at your height you really couldn't get much thinner without risking serious underweight.

6 foot 1 waiste is 28... It was always 28 inch even before I started hrt... That has me in a size 5 jeans.

I'm just about 6 ft. tall (5'11" on some days)... and have a 27-28 inch waist (depending on how much I eat that day). Usually a size 6 in most things. Your size sounds fine to me.

 24" at 5'4" here. Little bit underweight.

I require a belt with size 0's with these tiny 32" hips. It's shameful.

I am 5'7 and my waist is 26" . I used to be very skinny and really underweight before HRT.

It seems like all of us start at one end or the other of the BMI index, rarely within it.
I'm 5'6" 26" waist (honestly I'm not entirely sure, may have lost weight from stress again, as my size 1 jeans seem to fit better now.)

I'm 6'1, currently a waist of 32'. Note, I'm still rather flabby, especially in the tummy. My target and natural waist is just under 29' without all of the excess flab.

It's not just the young ones. I am 5'10" with a 30" waste. I wear a size 6 comfortably.

I'm pretty sure the average is a bit fatter than that. I wear a size 8 long jeans and I'm 5'10" with a waist size of just under 30. I just look fat in my avatar.

I'm starting to think I measured my waist wrong because a size 6 is a little loose on me, but I thought I measured it at 30". I guess I will have to redo it when I get home.

I'm 5'7" and my waist is currently 27", I fit really well into size 3, but probably because I have very little in the hip department. Hopefully HRT will help fill me out there at least a little (been on it for only 1 month so far), but my mom has very small hips too so I'm not expecting much!

Fingers crossed, I have always wanted hips- since I was 6 years old :D

I must say are you all using different sizes because some girls sizes make sense to what my country uses then I hear a 3?? or a 1??  :D In my country thats like what a 9 year old wears, you know not much thicker then air.

Yip tho almost all my shoes are from japan XD, I  would give my sizes but they all so different 1 pair says 28 , the other says 7(88cm hip). So yea I know not to but cloths by mail order now!
