Hi Zarathoustra! I've wondered about other communities outside the English speaking trans communities.
Also, I have a question, if you don't mind: Has your teaching been affected by your transition?
As to your English grammar, all that I would correct is:
Your English is already very good, though! J'ai besoin de pratiquer ma français, mais je suis familier avec la langue. I need to practice my French, but I am familiar with the language.
Also, I have a question, if you don't mind: Has your teaching been affected by your transition?
As to your English grammar, all that I would correct is:
Quote
I have finished my transition
QuoteIn English, we say "for <<some time period>>" instead of "since <<some time period>>." "Depuis" is a word that doesn't translate well, syntax-wise.
I have had my new identity cardsincefor 2 weeks
QuoteSome Americans won't understand the word "ameliorate," but it is proper English. Instead, you could use:
to ameliorate my english level
Quote"corrige" should be "correct"
to help my English
Your English is already very good, though! J'ai besoin de pratiquer ma français, mais je suis familier avec la langue. I need to practice my French, but I am familiar with the language.

Thank you very much,
Teaching is not a very big problem for a transsexual person but it depend of etablishment.
Sometime is difficult, it really depend of direction. It's often difficult for transsexual teacher in very catholic school.
In personal view is not always easy 'cause my passing is not totally perfect and I seem really young (15 or 16 years old) sometime make me in incomfortable situation toward students.
But it gets better and I take confiance with the time.
I give you a precision : I have start to teach after my transition, in my mâle identity.

Hi Zarathoustra,
A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.
There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.
As one of your request was wanting to talk to American TS, that's fine. It's just when the opportunity to speak to an Aussie comes up; run for the nearest atomic bomb shelter. We all speak 'Strine' here in the Land of Oz, and that will only confuse you all the more. Although Devlyn has a keen trick. She uses a hammer to speak Aussie. Sorry. The above paragraph is all part of an ongoing joke.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi Jules, welcome to Susan's Place! I live near Boston. Catherine is referring to an old Australian trick of hitting yourself with a hammer to increase your vocabulary. I merely revived the tradition! See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn
