Title: question...
Post by: unicorn on October 27, 2005, 04:36:06 PM
why oh why does this forum of all places only have two options for gender to chose from for profiles  ???
at minimum there should be a third option?

e.g.:

gender: "what's that?"

other suggestions?

:P

Not a bad point Unicorn,

I guess it's because the choice we make here is which gender we wish to identify with. I have to say I can't imagine anyone choosing to be like us ::) so I guess a third, forth or more is unnessary.

Hi Shelley,
that's also a good point, about people not choosing to live like this... but since we have no choice, we have to create a space for ourselves in this world... third, fourth, n-th... And I've seen that many of us here have come up with great, creative, brave solutions beyond the binary.

still looking for mine... for now it's just "undecided" ...  ???  :)

Love,

The reason there are only two options is because of the software's limitations. I guess some posibilities might be.

Female(I guess) same for male.
Not sure
Who wants to know?
and
You figure it out.

Serves me right for being philosophical. Of course it is as simple as a software limitation. ::)

and the software is made by people who uphold a strict m/f divide... (i'm in a philosophical mood tonight, lol), surely there are some IT-geniuses here who can help us start a revolution?

much love to all!

I see on alot of sites online only 2 options (Male) (Female) being Tg myself.........i eventually came to realization alot of sites just refuse to listen! ??? So.......i've come this conclusion registeer as female but.......on the very begining not the two letter Tg but......Tragendered i also add the fat that i am M-F and pre-op and yes i say pre-op because do hope to do SRS one day myself lots say that but aren't interested in SRS sorry i don't get it there! ???I think that would be the term Non-op Tg?  ???
