Title: Weight distribution and how to avoid unwanted weight - What to expect and not
Post by: alicel on January 24, 2013, 07:23:43 AM
Hi everyone,

I am interested to know about fat redistribution and how it may affect me.  In particular my body shape. I am interested to know ( excluding genetics) what I should do to promote correct redistribution.

So far I just have these on my list:
  Cycling (20 mins daily)
  Bottom exercises ( I watched a few youtube exercise videos ;) )
  My diet is good.

Back to weight distribution.  I am quite lean/fit.  I don't  currently accumulate fat regardless whatever I do.
I have these measurements before any attempt to change myself. measurements taken start of January 2013.
Age: 41
Bust 35" (resting) (~36.5 fully expanded, and 34 when I've breathed out.
Rig cage: 31"
Waist 28"
Top of hips 35"
Hips 36" (measured along the widest part)
Height 5'5"  (about 173cm)
Weight 127lbs / about 58kg
Shoe size: 40.5 EU/  7 UK

I'm kinda of interested to know how this may pad out, and what I should do to make sure that I don't end up overweight and saggy.  I know that muscle gain will be harder and fat accumulation easier :(

Finally, this post is about checking whether my body shape is normal, and how others with similar body fat and measurements fared on HRT.

Many thanks,
A

At 5' 5" your wight should be 131lb (minimum) 145 lb (ideal) 159 lb (max)...or else you would not grow breast...need to gain at least 10 lb..

Wait, what? Is that true?

I'm 5'5" and weigh about 122 lbs, but I still have belly fat, so how can that be possible?

Dear ShiningStar,

Answer: Genetics. When I was 135lbs at 5'10", I was a lollilop looking mofo(ie.called the PUMPKIN HEAD back then), pre hrt at 19 years of age, of course, I was freshly out of usmc bootcamp. I knew a compadre there 5'5", he could not lose 10 pounds if his life depended on it, and he was part of the porkchop platoon. Guy was fat and muscle, like a little pitbull, and I went from 155lbs to 135(ie.skin and bones), he went from 165lbs to 155lbs, still looking the same. Wierd then, now its genetics.

Just a funny flashback I got  :P

You know what, scratch that 165lbs to 155lbs for my compadre pitbull, I forget, but I knew he wore a white tshirt with that red stripe, I knew he could never shake off that overweight status, but the guy was fatbody looking gent.

Lucia, Ok ok, sorry, but I remember its genetics.
