I'm in Los Angeles, near Compon :'P. Just to avoid this question again, the skies are not hazy with pollution, and we don't have constant shootings XP. Most people don't really care about me being trans either. Those that do care either just talk about me behind my back, or pray xD.

And Taco, you don't see the pollution because you're in it. When I drive to LA, that's all I see from far away. It's okay though because Long Beach is the city that has the worst pollution in the country due to it being a port city.

What's really pathetic is that I've lived here all my life, been to a lot of other countries and last Summer was my first ever visit to Vancouver, BC.

March a year ago, just as a tourist. It was the wrong time to go, the Butchart Gardens weren't in full bloom and it was cold and windy and even snowed a few light flakes, so the windchill factor was a bit much. We were surprised at how civil everyone was though. Here in Seattle you are lucky if they stop when you're in the crosswalk. I sure liked the bed in the hotel we stayed in, I should have looked at the brand of the mattress, I slept like a baby it was so comfortable.

I know!! I actually live in Deland specifically so I'm closer to Daytona. Between the 2 cities, I found 3 therapists. Two are a complete joke and total ripoff. Fortunately I found Dr. Baker-Hargrove - he's very involved in the LGBT community here. The Centre and GIFT aren't that great either. I'm in their facebook group and there's a lot of drama... So I haven't felt comfortable going to any group meetings:(

true, I've actually gone up into the mountains near here and found around 12 or 15 old abandoned mines and know of at least 3 working mines that are close by all for silver and or gold

Haha yeah, I personally disagree that my town is the most boring. I'm only 35 mins from Boston, 30 from Providence, and 20 from Worcester. The Twin Cities has a large trans population, tolerant people and lots to do. Great place...a little cold in the winter but I wouldn't live anywhere else. There are several people on Susan's from the Twin Cities and I'm going to try and arrange a in person get together, probably in Minneapolis. If anyone ends up here for some reason, send a message. I'll do what I can to at least say hello.

Maybe we can trade places. We spend a few weeks last October to travel through Florida and we loved it. Especially Amelia Island and St. Pete Beach are fantastic places. We loved to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and to shop in the Sawgrass Mills Mall.
Unfortunately I have a good job here in Berlin and the city is very transgender friendly. Why you would like to swap places?

I love overcast rainy skies but the days we were there it was super sunny and cloudless, but on the morning we left it was foggy and gorgeous out. Also, the people there just seem so much more relaxed and nice there, you get random smiles from people for no reason.

You have more time under your belt with transition but for me Portland is an oasis of acceptance. I don't pass for crap but almost never get misgendered when out and about and folks are pretty casual.

But actually I'm from Florida. This has got the be the only state with the most fickle weather ever! >.< One minute its rainin' cats and dogs out there and the next minute I fee like I'm not in Kansas anymore and got magically whisked away to the magical Land of Oz on a bright sunny day! 8) But it literally can happen within minutes. The weather here cannot seem to make up its mind and changes like a girl changes clothes. Lol!^^

"Changes its mind like a girl changes clothes" is a very common expression that means "changes often." Not sure if you're unfamiliar or if you're trying to make a point about the sexism/gender-based generalisation within the phrase, but either way, I'm don't think Phoenix specifically has a problem with women.
