Title: How do I block a section/topic.
Post by: Kevin Peña on February 09, 2013, 12:41:55 PM
Is there any way I can block a topic or any section from me, such as the politics section? It's so easy to get baited into it, and I'd just like to block it off.

Thanks.

In your profile, is there an ignore topics button under the modify profile tab?

I've blocked the 'politics' board in your profile. Let me know if you want to block the politics news board or any other board as well.

Note: This only makes it not come up in your topics and you won't see that orange 'new' symbol when there's a new post. You can however, still manually click on the board. (I think; been a long time since I was a regular member).

Ya, don't click on it  ;D

Was this directed at me  ????????????????

DianaP, I wish you knew how much I enjoy you  :)

Well, I don't trust myself to not click on it. For example, I'm bored today, having finished all of my homework and exercise before 2pm. I don't want to discuss politics. I wasn't directing anything at you, just so you know. Heck, I wasn't actually directing at anybody. Nonetheless, one person, who shall remain unnamed, has always baited me into discussion by twisting my words into negative connotations and blatantly insulting me.

Oh, I see it now. Sorry, never been too good with computer stuff.  :(

We've had common ground the whole time. I said repeatedly that govt may not be perfect, but it's necessary and should be fixed. Nonetheless, people still chastised me. Thus, there's no point in further discussion.
