After writing in another thread about "couch hunting", I've decided to make this thread!  Whenever you feel like it, just go digging through your couch and see what you find and report it back here!

Here are my findings during the last 5-6 times I've went digging:

-Coins

-Flashlight

-Pacifiers

-kid socks

- a toy lion

- a toy tiger

-a bottle of my mom's whisky

-Sour cry baby gum

-a small toy tambourine

-a hershey's kiss

-a marble

Heroquest board game, some dust bunnies and I am pretty sure a pair of socks I lost are under there but I don't want to go look.

I went couch digging on Tuesday to find some extra money to put into my top surgery fund and here's what I found:

.82 cents (Woooohoooooo!)  More than likely it's my sister's change that fell out of her purse.

A small bouncy ball (I couldn't get to it)

I am deeply amused by the idea that malachite maybe doesn't live with kids and the things listed in this post and the first one all belong to him

what's under my couch at the moment...

my pup's head and part of her pack. I've never understood why she likes sleeping under things.
a foam roll
a yoga mat
a top to a food container that some dog shoved under there
a squeaker from a dog toy
a pair of shoes
stuffing from a dog toy
and an empty yogurt container (it's a rule, I must let the dog lick it out)

and surprisingly, no bones down the crack. normally there are many "buried" there... hmmm... so where is he burying them now. they better not be in my bed again

Some dust bunnies

Half a doggie chew toy

I am too afraid to look under the communal couch. . . there's usually funky food rotting away in bowls and plates that got shoved under there by those too lazy to wash any dishes.  :-X

concidering i don't have a clutch  within acsess right now i checked under my mattress. heres what i found
$45 in fives
3 left socks
1 right sock
1 ripped up note book with lyrics on it
a broken album case
illegablely smudged (assumibly) band poster
air canada boarding pass under my dads name (seemingly unused)
and a art kit
(under the BED there was just some slippers)

Under mine I have dust,dog toys,socks and a old nokia phone

I'm not sure, I'm to scared to look.  ;)

Lately, I have found a WWJD ring underneath my couch while looking for my magnetic ring, which was on my bed....

A bunch of those cat toy balls with the bells in the middle, three forks and one flip-flop that I do not remember purchasing. I think it might have been a gift.

Well my couch is also my bed... Futon. But underneath it all.

Cat 5 cable, 4 rolls of it, ranging from 50 feet to 150 feet in length.

Two power surge protectors.

My tiger slippers.

Three pairs of high top converse (my red white and blue pair, my custom velvet ones, and my work pair)

My military dress shoes in their box.

Couple bottles of water that end up rolling down there especially when I get thirsty at night.

A few bottle caps under my couch; my cat absolutely has a thing for them, and she lets out a victory yell when she gets ahold of one, as she bats it around the apartment like a hockey puck :)

LOL... Cats can be such great entertainment  ;D

I once discovered a gray squirrel had set up a spot to chew pine cones under there....scared me silly when I first lifted the couch skirt  There are so many critters that want to get into our home!   ;D
A billion insects, birds, bats, mice and more of the natural world that surrounds us....just wish they would pay rent ;)

The last time I dug through the couch I found a mini accordion, lots of full walnuts, a flask(empty), 14 empty pill bottles, and a set of costume wings. Still didn't find the remote though...

Usually it's Something of unknown origin that the dog has chewed up, and no i'm not touching it to see what it is. Oh and something that thinks it's a turantula, and i'm not touching that either.

You just reminded me of one of my favorites, many years ago now. My mother had just come to visit, and we were making up the sofa bed in the living room while she watched. We unfolded the mattress, and right in the crease there were four round, brown things, about 5/8" in diameter, that looked like turds left by some not-so-small creature. My mother sort of gasped... and then we realized that they were hazelnuts, still in their shells, stashed there by the resident mice.

LOL, sounds like our family life rolls on similar roads.  My mom came to visit decades ago and wanted to spend the night in our old "camper."  Seems the mice who had taken up residence danced on her sleeping form and it was all over.....

My smelly roommate is always on top of my couch, so I am not willing to get near enough to discover what's underneath. Actually, I might get rid of the couch and let him keep whatever is under it.

Nothing. :( I am not exciting...

I'm not really sure for the most part. My girlfriend has stored some stuff under there that I'm not too sure about. The only thing I know for sure is that our cat likes to sleep under there from time to time :P

I just recently discovered a hippie style commune of about 20 MTF and FTM dwarf  trolls camping out under my bed. I've been hearing singing and guitar playing the last few months and I thought it was coming from the apartments around mine because there are a lot of music students from the university practicing all the time. I woke up one night and they were partying a little too hard so I new the music was closer than I thought and found these characters under my bed.
