I bought some boxer briefs at Target the other day. They're C9 Champion Active Performance (I think these are them: http://www.target.com/p/c9-by-champion-cotton-2pk-stretch-boxer-brief-assorted-colors/-/A-13944452#prodSlot=large_1_4 (http://www.target.com/p/c9-by-champion-cotton-2pk-stretch-boxer-brief-assorted-colors/-/A-13944452#prodSlot=large_1_4) ).
I've bought boxer briefs before and they have a little cut away so you can pull your junk out and pee, but these don't have a cut away. So, is this a defect (and why they were on sale), or is it because they're more like sports boxers and you don't want your stuff falling out while you're jumping all around? But, isn't that what a jock strap is for? The packaging does say "Performance mesh pouch for ventilation and support".
And, if this isn't a defect, how do guys go pee wearing these? It seems unreasonable for a guy to have to pull down his pants and boxers down just to take a leak.
Edit: spelling

Funny you mention this, I recommended these to a guy the other day.
I found some on clearance at target for $5 (a 2pk). I'm pretty sure they're so your junk doesn't go jumpin all around when you're doing physical things like you said. There are plenty of different brands of briefs like this.
Anyways, I love them. They fit nice & snug and are reassuring for those days when I'm going somewhere to work out & there will be other people and I'm paranoid of my packer falling out. They're worth the buy for me, I plan on buying more. I never use the front hole in my boxerbriefs to go pee anyways; it's just a hassle.

Didn't see your last question about peeing. You just pull your junk out over the briefs and hold the briefs down with your hand a little while you're peeing. It's not that hard, trust me :D.

Yeah sounds like the same ones, I haven't tried them on yet but they do look super comfy, and seems great for guys who pack.
Thanks for answering, I haven't started STPing yet, so I wasn't aware the hole could be a hassel.

With briefs and boxer briefs I honestly don't know a single guy (and I know a good amount!) who uses the hole to pull their junk out. They just push down the waistband. So it's definitely a thing to have some without any kind of hole. I'm wearing a pair like that right now ;)

Pull down at the waist. You don't need to pull your pants all the way down. The lack of a front hole is so that those boxer briefs can do what briefs are meant to do - hold your stuff in.

My boxer briefs (f of the L) have a flap/pocket. Very convenient for the packer. You put the shaft in the flap and presto bingo. I saw where someone had put a loop of thin elastic (ladies underwear size) in there. Might do this too.
