Several bar associations have announced their support for House Bill 1722, which would amend the state's anti-discrimination statute to include gender identity and expression.

Mass. is a progressive state. Gender identity non-discrimination laws WILL pass there without question.
I think by years end we will have a pretty good list of states where we have legal protections for job discrimination.

(Kind of a UK rant)
It really seems like the UK is far behind with regards to gender identity discrimination and not even close to it. It's really quite sad when every other sort of discrimination isn't tolerated...
The worrying thing really is the amount of support the BNP are getting to irradicate any chance of *any* support in the near future.
