Title: PCOS and starting T

I need a little heads up or something like that. I posted on here about my naturally deep voice and my natural facial hair and all that, and someone mentioned something called PCOS. I looked it up and I pretty much fit all the symptoms. For a while now whenever I cough I get horrible pains where my ovaries are, and that would explain the cysts. I don't really know how this would work. Would it stop me from being able to start HRT or is there a way around that?

That was me who mentioned it. :)
There are some transguys with PCOS who have gone on testosterone, but your first step would be to see your doctor to investigate whether you do in fact have it.
Whether or not you have PCOS, we all need medical advice before we'll know for sure whether it's safe for us to go on HRT.

Totally sounds like PCOS, but there's other guys out there with it who have gotten on T, and haven't had any issues.
Def go to a ob/gyn and get it checked out. I think I have PCOS and need to stop by a doctor myself. From what I've read, they'll most likely do a regular exam, and then sometimes they do an ultrasound and some blood tests.

Actually might be a bit common in the trans male community. No one I know of who has PCOS has been denied T-- I think I know 2-3 guys.
