Title: HRT Cost - Does this sound about right?

So, I emailed this informed consent clinic in New York called Community Kinship Life. I asked some basic information about getting started with HRT and they told me that the cost (without insurance) would be around $43 dollars for a vial, which is supposed to last from 4-5 months depending on a person's dosage.
Now, to me, this sounds great as far as price. But the amount bothers me. I thought it would be a lot more money. Does this sound correct based off of what others have researched or experienced? Also, what is the average dosage starting off?

Callen Lorde sounds awesome! Looks like I chose right.
Oh yeah, if you don't have insurance, expect a long wait. Needless to say, it's an enticing option.

I just called them up today. The woman told me someone would contact me in a month. But I think I'd rather go there because at least I've heard a bit about it. I haven't heard anyone mention the Community Kinship place.
