Hi does anyone have any tips for eyebrows plucking. I need to give them a more feminine appearance, but i havent come out to a lot of people yet and as such still have to dress male part of the time. So what im asking i suppose is how do i do it without drawing major attention to myself while in male mode.

I found this tutorial to be particularly helpful and started really slowly/carefully as I have heard they can take a long time to regrow if you mess up, but I go a little more aggressive with it every month. This was one of the first things I did when I was still presenting in andro boy mode.

Also trimming the length of the brows with a comb & scissors helped me to even everything out!
Actually this reminds me I think it's time to take out a little more :D
Good luck!

Oh my goodness - I absolutely dislike my eyebrows! If I could, I would make them thinner.
However, my eyebrows grow quickly, and thickly, and it gets so super annoying that I have to get them professionally done to prevent them from becoming woman-bushes! :-\

You have marvelous eyebrows! I on the other hand have hardly any, they are real thin and sketchy. I come from a Norwegian/Finnish background and am unusually hairless almost everywhere. Is there some information on how to grow eyebrows when you don't have any? So far whenever I have felt like getting girly I've had to pencil them on. :'(

Your eyebrows are very, very nice looking! Natural, not too thin, not drawn in looking, no thin pencil lines AND nicely running with the shape of your eyes and eyesockets.
Sometimes I see women and MTF...thin, rounded pencil lines...sometimes even red....too thin rounded plucked....and it makes them look cheap/whorish/harsh/dumb.

Yes I agree. My mom who was young and vivacious back in the 1930's, young women in her era used to actually shave them off and pencil them back on. They all looked like that, it was creepy! I like the natural well shaped eyebrows like Jennygirl has, she sure has her act together!

Quote from: Shantel on March 04, 2013, 11:58:48 AMThe very same eyebrows were also fashionable in the 1960's, 1970's and came into fashion again in the late 1990's...and some women/mtf still have their eyebrows 'shaped' this way to this day, no matter how old or young they are.

But...the younger ones are garish looking/made up/dressed...the older ones got stuck in the 60's/70's eyebrow fashion.

Thanks for the positive feedback you sweet, sweet girls!! I am really happy with them too!
That tutorial, and going slow, kind of on a week to week basis was my process. I think I may still want to thin out the inside ends just ever so slightly, just not sure whether to take out from the top or bottom.
My stepsister who is an esthetician was telling me over the phone "I'm going to thin em out when you visit!" and I was thinking (not saying!)... Hmmmm... can I see some before & afters? Haha..
Eyebrows can seem to make such a huge difference on a person's face. In some cases I feel like they're up there with FFS for overall effect.
And I don't mind the penciled on kind or the super thinned out types, those look extremely feminine... Just didn't really feel like it was for me, but I've seen it work on others and I usually let them know :)

Eyebrows give the face such character and bring out the beauty of one's eyes just as good frame on a picture draws one's attention to the picture itself otherwise it might go unnoticed. People like myself who don't have any or are so light appear to be from another planet. As for me the way I feel about my own eyebrows I might as well be wearing a full body cast and be left out in the rain for the dog to pee on. As you can probably tell, I'm not happy about my non-eyebrows, sorry for the rant!
