I think she's asking if taking prenatal vitamins will be better for HRT. The answer is no, i think.
I'm not a doctor but i play one at Susan's jk lol but i'm pretty sure that prenatal vitamins are specifically to make sure the baby is getting the vitamins it needs in the womb. I'd just eat right, the hormones alone are a lot for our livers without adding vitamins, especially if you're taking spiro (which cause potassium to build up in the system). That could be really bad. Ask your GP though more if you really must take vitamins. Get one without potassium, if that's possible if on spiro.

Thanks for the messages. I have taken both a one a day and prenatal. I have noticed better nails and hair with my prenatals.

I doubt prenatals contain much potassium but other vitamins might so please be careful as your nails and hair are not worth the risk if you are taking spiro. E itself causes thicker and longer growth. And a calcium citrate will help your nails. The vitamins could lead to hyperkalemia (excess potasium) a medical emergency due to the risk of potentially fatal abnormal heart rhythm. If not, well, idk. I'm only trying to help. Plus, vitamins are processed by the liver and enzyme CYP450, largely. If you're orally taking E that could be bad as well. Sublinqual admin or shots of E prob not so much. Id's seriously call your doc to make sure its okay. Plus, prenatals are meant for pregnant women and the reason it may help with hair is the iron in them. But iron is hard on the liver. Your call. How long have u been on HRT?

And if fishie juice creeps the heck out of you like it does for me, there's flax oil. :p
