Has anyone had a problem with width of their vagina, especially with Dr. Chettawut? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, Bella. I haven't had surgery yet, was just wondering if people experience problems with width.

I went to Brassard, but keep in mind that typically neo-vaginas are going to typically be tighter than genetic vaginas. Physioogically there's a lot less room inside our pelvic girdle vs. genetic. Look up pelvic girdle and analyze the skeletal differences, you'll see what I mean. It's isn't usually so tight that you can't dilate or anything, but it isn't usually going to seem as elastic or "roomy" as many genetic vaginas.

Lol. Eww Megan the way you said it makes it sounds like a right fit. I don't know about everyone else but I'm able to startle some nice sizes. But that might be because I use larger dilators

Dr Chettawut is a fantastic doctor, I has SRS with him. No problems. I lead an active sexual life and my boyfriend is quiet big. I am tight but I don't have any problems with his size. Again I guess it is all individual so talk to Dr Chettawut about his expectations in your individual case. He is very honest and you can trust him.

Why? How would have inversion technique helped you be more looser?

My surgery was done here in California, but at 10 weeks my dilator is 1 3/8 inches in diameter, which is the widest they will give me,  and VERY comfortable and easy to insert with proper lubrication, also about 5 7/8ths inch depth.  I have not begun having sex yet, but that is lack of available male organs in my social life, and not lack of desire. My surgery by Bowers uses both scrotal and penile tissue, but YMMV with whoever you use.

Mumbaigirl: I've heard this before: non-inversion means less scarring.  What is non-inversion though please: Colovaginoplasty?   Or do you mean Penile Inversion has more scarring? I am confused.   Also, internal or external ''cosmetic'' scarring?  Thanks!

I think regarding scarring, penile inversion uses the full-thickness penile skin to form the neovagina, whereas dr suporn (who did my SRS), dr chett, and others who use "non inversion" use half-thickness scrotal skin which they then score with a machine that not only removes the hair follicles (rendering electrolysis unnecessary) but also sort of makes a bunch of crisscross cuts in it, which lets it stretch to twice the original size, ie you can get a lot more vagina out of a lot less material. As you can imagine, this material needs to be dilated more aggressively, though, while scar tissue forms and then breaks down to ensure no loss of that extra depth/width.
