I have the gen 2 4 inch and I am very happy with it. My only complaint is my own fault really. I wish I had gone with a lighter color than moderate brown. Not really a deal breaker for me though. When this one wears out, I will get a lighter color.

The gen 2 improved on the problems I had with the gen 1 and I can successfully use the gen 2 at a urinal. My issues with the gen 1 included leakage through the back part of the funnel, lack of length to reach outside of pants, and the shaft was too firm. All three of these issues were fixed with the gen 2, both because of the extended back flap and redesign of the shaft to allow for more useable length. I use the SpareParts Pete Commando packing underwear to hold it in place: http://myspare.com/product/pete (http://myspare.com/product/pete)

I'm in the minority, but I was not a fan of it. I had mine for less than two months and just sold it. I had the 5.5" light beige. The coloring and detail were very good IMO, but I couldn't get the hang of STPing with it. The funnel part was entirely too flimsy to pee with for me without leaking. It packed okay, the bulge was actually a lot smaller than I thought it would be because the shaft is hollow. I didn't use it for sex so I can't comment on that. If I were you, I would try to see one in person and see if the design works for you before dropping $200 on it.

I was wondering if you can ride your bike wearing this packer? How good is this packer for the athletic types? Has anyone experience any tearing from the outer flaps?

I went out for my bike ride yesterday. And i find it hard to get comfortable with it while packing and then after a while the balls will fold in. So i did find it annoying. To your other questions i cant help with.
Apart from no tear but did have some which looks like flakes on the side of the shaft near the flap bit. So it might be due to me pulling it when i have it through the fly.
