Hello,
I have not started my journey yet and as you can imagine I am probably worrying about anything and everything!!!
My concern is that my mother died with cancer which was hormone dependent (it was apparently not hereditary; however 3 women in my family have died from similar cancers).
I'm willing to take that risk, however my concern is if I developed cancer which was hormone dependent would they take me off HRT???
Would there be an alternative??
Thanks

This is very hard to answer, it depends on exactly what kind of cancer it was and the doctors personal attitudes.

Thanks for the reply!!! fair point..
I am so frightened to start this process and then say 5 yrs down the line be unable to take hormones and be left in a state of limbo!!
