I had an interesting day. The family were coming around for hot cross buns, easter eggs and tea and coffee etc. Most of the family know me and there are no problems. But I realised a brother in law was coming who I haven't seen for 18 months, and the mother of my sister in law who I hadn't seen in years.
I wasn't in the least concerned I was just interested.
Mike, my brother in law is separated so that is why I hadn't seen him. He was fine, had heard about me and didn't have a clue in how to address me or refer to me. He tried to shake my hand in greeting, so I kissed him on the cheek and he was taken aback. He was obviously feeling uncomfortable but I don't think he knew why.
I was BTW looking pretty hot in tight jeans knee high boots with 3 inch heels a low cut blouse and nicely made up. Since he had last seen me my hair has changed, my boobs have leapt, my face is clear and I'm totally FT. He is a mad keen car enthusiast so he was taken with my little sports car but struggled with the number plates. He just seemed confused! Quite funny! I kissed him goodbye as well just to help his confusion along.
My sister in law Mum is mid 80's and was very taken with me, she couldn't get a pronoun correct to save her life but I really don't think it was deliberate. My wife was also present and that confused her more as my wife is totally disabled and I have to feed and care for her. So she had problems in trying to understand our relationship, probably nothing she is used too.
All in all a fun day.

Hi Cindy,
Sounds like a good day was had by all; including moi. So well organised, prepared and exercuted. Who won the egg and spoon race? Did you have an Easter egg hunt to kick proceedings off??
Oh!! and BTW. You never did explain what you did with the Wedding Dress.
'Hop' all your rabbits come at once
Huggs
(Not too sure whether I should put my name here ;D)

Yes sounds interesting indeed.
As long as there was no fighting it must have been fine. So many family get togethers end up this way.
My ex partners family, this usually happens when they are all together.
I feel for you and your wife as it is hard, I know. Perhaps I should my ex soon again.
No progress there as you would know but she did win a large court case recently.
Take care
Catherine, that is a terrible pun if I may bee the first to say so...

Why thank you so much Jenny. I take pride in the fact you have honoured such nonsense.
Still I hope you were able to enjoy yourself this weekend. These are now things of the past and we are all moving on.
I'm hopping your Easter was full of Bunnies
Huggs
(Continuing to remain unsigned ;D )

My church had a potluck after service, and it was nifty to eat and visit with a bunch of people. We talked about gender, math, academia, the church, and a little bit about anime and conventions.
