heyy is anyone on here from the townsille area i'm kind looking for some trans friends to hang out with or just catch up every now and then. i know this is cross posting but i'm looking to make friends with mtfs as well :)

 If you want to cover both demographics, you can just post on the "Transgender Talk" board.

I'm in Brisbane if that helps or you want to chat! lol I know it's not really close.

Most I know are far away too, like Canberra or Melbourne.

Good luck, Townsville has a much smaller population unfortunately :(

I see from your profile you are in Australia.  Did you mean Townsville on the east coast?

If so, and if the statistics hold true, you should have several hundred transpersons in your community.

I am not surprised, because they are few social occasions in which transpersons tend to gather.  Generally, it is through some other function, like a "Gay pride" event.  Have you thought about trying to establish a local Trans support group?
