Well, even my friends that know me before my transition say what my look change very well, almost totally femme (of course some details would be male yet) but ask me abut what will do about my voice, because hey say is almost the only thing that make me be clocked easily.
Even my gestures and moves start to look more natural and femine... so my "enemy" actually is only my voice :'(
I start singing class, and try some times to find a natural voice,...but is a so frustrating process.

hahah i totally understand you, actually i have a family bussness and work as girl (well sometimes i had a androginous look..but just because i am a bit flat :P) but my voice is a totally disaventage, aniway most of the clients know me from before my transition and i guess they still thinking in me as boy, so i must just hold the breath and try to dont feel bad for be called "dude or boy" or in any other male way (and you know, in spanish the genre have a lot more presence in the talk than in english language).
Example:
"You are tired?" dont have genre in english but in spanish if is male you say "estas cansadO?" and if is female you say "estas cansadA?"
:P But well, i guess in some way my brain is more "pragmatic" and i have a androginous image from myself that make me keep in balance, so i can go full time whitout so much fear of being cloked...well that and the fact what transgender people where i live..usually are more easily clocked because lack of resources than in USA..and i was in a realtion whit another transgender girl for 2 years

Both of you should come and post in the "does my voice pass" thread. Voice is actually pretty easy once you learn a couple of simple tricks.

Voice is actually pretty easy once you learn some simple skills. Most people can achieve a passable voice in 6-months of self-training. You can look for some materials on the web, for example, the video made by Andrea James on YouTube. If you understand Japanese, it would be even better, because the Japanese people have sorted out great tutorials for this.
