Title: bottom surgery
Post by: zeekoe on April 04, 2013, 05:56:42 PM
hello there,

I want to get bottom surgery. It's very important to me since I am very dysphoric towards my vagina. is it possible to get a bottom surgery without Testosterone? Or with testosterone and without top surgery? Bottom surgery is more important to me than removal of my breasts.

I know I'm a rare case, I've heard more of people doing top surgery without bottom, but is it possible the other way around? I am thinking about it though. But my dysphoria is way worse down there.

Is it possible? And would a gender team accept this, that I want a partial transition, That I really want this?

Would they take me serious?

Hi Zeekoe,

I think you should see a qualified therapist and talk about your problem. If two mental health professionals are able to give you recommendations for the surgery then the doctor should do the surgery as recommended by the mental health professionals.
Good luck!
