Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hi. My name in Allyson, but you can call me Ally. ^__^

I am twenty-one years old. I am a MtF and I am just recently coming out. This is my second attempt to coming out. I originally tried coming out about five years ago when I was in High School. After telling a few of the LGBT people and receiving support, I attempted to talk to my mother who pretty much said that I was just confused and didn't know what I was saying. TT_TT

Now that I am older and have more money and freedom, I want to attempt to come out again. For the long run, I am looking to eventually go through SRS. I have told my two best friends so far, both of which are males. I am attempting to find more female friends as they are usually more helpful in these situations. I am about to start going to a local Transgender meeting, but I am a bit nervous. @__@

A few other things about me:
I spend most of my time playing Magic: the Gathering, which I find increasingly boring the more I come out. It's an unfortunately male-dominated game.
I am super shy and not very outgoing, but I try my best to be social whenever I can.
I love cats, the Legend of Zelda series and strawberry-banana smoothies.
I have a younger brother.
I am only ever interested in women for having a relationship. I have never felt a strong connection to a guy, but I am not opposed to such things happening, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
