i feel for you mate. my hairline is receeding too. I know i'm not going to go bald because none of the men in my family are and they all have this hairline but i hate it because if i get it cut short i'll look like dracula.

Sure it's not just your hairline shifting into that M' shape? I was scared of that too originally, but if you notice, a ton of really young cisguys have it, even teenagers. I think it's just a male puberty effect. Course you could be receding early. A friend of mine was receding pretty visibly at 23.

I have a lot of hair too but my hairline starts really far back and always has so it's not receding. I guess it's just natural for people of any gender to have hairlines that start further back than they should. Maybe yours is the same way. I always worry that once I start T it will shift back even further or actually start receding but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I've been considering hair transplants for a long time now but that's going to be a pain on top of all the other surgeries I'll be getting to transition.

Btw, male pattern baldness is carried on the X chromosome. So you have to worry re: both sides of your family.
