Title: Packers for first time
Post by: noahb on April 13, 2013, 06:05:58 PM
So, this is my first post, but I've been reading through the forums for the past couple days. I have a question regarding packers, and packing underwear. What would you recommend I should buy since it'll be my first time actually packing (Tried the whole sock thing, and didn't really like it, it felt too odd to me.) and how much it is, and/or where you bought it. I'd really like to buy some packing underwear as well, but it's not necessary, but I'd like some nice recommendations. Thank you in advanced! :) (edit) I almost forgot, it doesn't matter if it has a STP with it or not, because I don't mind it either way.

My suggestion would be to check out the thread on packers that's stickied at the top of this forum.  That lists where to buy them and their rough costs.  It all depends on how much you're willing to spend and what your priorities are (price, colour, 3-D balls, etc).  Just have a look at each of them and choose, most of them, particularly the ones in the first post, are used by people on here, so you can ask any other questions if you're still undecided.

Personally I have the Mr Limpy XS, which is my first packer and that suits me fine.  But just like cis penises vary so do our tastes in packers.  Mr Limpy's are cheap though, so if you're not sure if packing is something you really want to do then it might be worth going for.

I don't know much about packing underwear, it all seems too expensive to be worth it for me, but my most expensive underwear cost £2.50, (so anything is expensive to me).  If you're not sure on packing you can always make a harness really easily before splashing out on underwear, it might also feel more natural if you're a boxers kind of guy, I'd imagine packing underwear and boxers would make it feel more like the packer was clothes than your body.

I scraped up some change to get a small Mr. Limpy (wouldn't recommend the size unless you're preparing to deal with phallo eventually like me) and spent a couple of days butchering my unwanted girl undies to make a harness. I salvaged a ton of elastic waistbands and used two per harness, one for the waist and one cut in half to make adjustable straps to keep everything in place. A few socks, safety pins, and hours later and I had a packer with three harnesses for less than $20. I tried a jockstrap from WalMart but I still like my design better. If you're feeling crafty and don't mind getting a few calluses on your fingers, it might be worth a try.

I went with the MASHO because I've heard it's about the same size as the XS limpy but it lies more naturally. You can get it with packing underwear from TranZwear, that's what I did. I'd be careful about the packing underwear though, some don't  hold the packers in the best spot.

I'd suggest the masho if you just want to try out packing. It's cheap and better than the mr limpy. I see no purpose in packing underwear but if you want to, go for it. To me it seems far to expensive (because you'd need to buy enough to wear them everyday. I got one for free with an order once and it held the packer too far up and just didnt work right. I prefer using a harness.
