so I've been researching a lot, but I haven't found answers. is cycling necessary for ftm, or is that just for mtf? I just started an over the counter testosterone supplement. bulgarian territus tibulus. I am 18 and live with parents who are very against transgenders. Well really anything not heterosexual. any sugestions would be appreciated! :)

Cycling? What do you mean exactly?

I use trib, but I don't cycle it. I don't know if it would make a difference. Just know that trib by itself is only equivalent to a very low dose of T and won't be terribly effective.

Paperdeepdream. I think your topic and question are better placed on the Hormone Replacement Therapy board. You can also find several other topics here that address your concerns.
My personal opinion is that herbals are not worth the cost for the meager benefits.

You'd probably do best to cycle it simply to give your body a break every now and again, but this probably doesn't need to be done any more frequently than every 6 months.
I fully believe if you combine supplements with weight training you can achieve a noticeable increase in your T levels. Weight training alone has already boosted my levels a surprising amount (although I have PCOS, so my body naturally produces more T than the typical woman; someone without PCOS will likely need supps and weight training to get such results). With my already high levels, weight training has boosted my T enough that I no longer get my monthly, just spotting. It certainly makes a difference.

Also, make sure you eating as few pesticides as possible- the changes were much more noticeable for me when I went organic.

Really? That's awesome! I've been wanting to go on an organic diet for so long, I just haven't had the money (I can barely afford to feed myself at this point, honestly). If I can get this job working with my cousin at the vet's office, maybe I'll finally have the income to buy real food. I imagine my muscle growth and fat loss would be much more significant on a real, healthy diet.

And remember to drink lots of water and don't eat grapefruit when you're taking medication- it leaves through a part of the liver that many medications/supplements do, which can overwork your liver.
