Title: A Visceral *ahem* Reaction to Scents

My spouse, among other amazing and awesome things, is an aromatherapist. For years, however, she's been focused on other things and did not do anything with her skills in that area. Recently I encouraged her to start a perfumery, which has made her incredibly excited and happy, the most she has been since I told her I was trans. It has given her something really positive to focus on and that makes a difference for all of us (my spouse, btw, writes a blog http://sheismyhusband.blogspot.com/ (http://sheismyhusband.blogspot.com/) about our relationship and how we have maintained it).
So last night she got her first shipment of essential oils and as she opened each small package, she would excitedly share the scents with me... which began to get me excited. I don't know at what point or what scent it was that was the tipping point, but this was more than an aphrodisiac. I had a full on :o O :o . And it was intense like I've had only a couple of times in the past year.
It's one thing to enjoy a scent. It's quite another to feel one.
Has anyone else had anything like this reaction?

Yes, my spouse got a scent that works perfectly with her personal body chemistry from Aveeda and oh my! ;)
I have noticed another person wearing some perfume that may have smelled fine in the bottle but it conflicted with their PH so badly that they smelled like a skunk. I've concluded that not all nice scents are nice on just anybody, people have to do their homework, that's why perfume sales people give away the tiny sample bottles so women can take then home and experiment to see what works.

If it was me, I'd go back through those scents one at a time. And order a gallon of the one that does it.

We went through a few of them, but it was too close the "event" and I was still a bit dazed.
