Title: SRS Discussion area
Post by: Cindy on May 13, 2013, 02:41:15 AM

I've had a few requests for an area to discuss SRS, for both men and woman. In particular to discuss availability of specialists and pre and post operative care.
The Post Op child board in Just for Us is suitable for these discussions. It is a restricted area and if you wish to participate in discussion there and don't have access please discuss with a Mod or Admin.
I'm happy to see broad discussion of medical experts who can provide service, and comments on experience in both positive and negative ways.
However the rules of libel are to be strictly observed.

That's a very valid point Emelye. It would be much better to not have it there. I'll leave it another year though

Well I certainly would like to ask a few rather sensitive questions to the group concerning post-op functionality since my job with Disney is going great and its only a matter of time on the waiting list now for those full-time benefits and the trip to Dr. Bowers a few months later... or would the mtf board be ok for that too?

Ask away in the MtF and I'll get you on to the post op board as well.
My friend Melody Mia had her SRS paid for by Disney!!
A great company in that respect.

I know, as well as a couple of our other (now lurking) Orlando area members, like Amelia, too... her's is in July :) we all cross paths occasionally at the local meetups (some I've had the privilege of hosting when my work schedule allows, but we can talk more in PM's ;) )
