Title: Is is possible for your beard to stop growing?

I didn't want to ask this question till I was absolutely sure my five o'clock shadow was disappearing. Last week I noticed the facial hair on the right side of my chin has started growing in patches. Some areas where I know for a fact I had facial hair there it seems to be gone. I'm not complaining but is this possible?
Now I will say I've never had what you would call a full beard it grows mostly on my chin and upper lip and some on my neck. It's a bit more sparse on both sides of my face and a lot of that hair is blonde so it's hardly noticeable. I didn't start noticing this missing hair till last week when I had a consultation for laser hair removal. I'm wondering has anybody else had this happen to them?

Never heard of it happening... Never noticed it... I suppose it could, though.

My facial hair growth has slowed markedly but I don't think it has receded. I wish it would lol and stranger things have happened.

The weird thing its just on the right side of my chin. Its strange because I don't wax or pluck my facial hair I just shave with an electric razor. I'm hoping that it will happen to the rest of my beard but I doubt it! But I'll take what I can get since most of my hair is blonde electrolysis is the only way I can get rid of them. So the less hair the better! :)

ABSOLUTELEY...it happened to me...true that I did not had a lot but I did...so, what I noticed is that it has disappeared all but a few strugglers from the side (cheeks) and neck. I still have some in my chin and upper lip but they are blond and thin, so I think they will eventually disappear altogether
Now, in my armpits hair has also disappear and I only shave once a month. The "happy trial" is but gone and so is the hair from my legs, no arm hair either
and to top it off I had some amazing hair re-growth and advancement on my hairline...so there is hope ladies!!

I've had the same results as Peky. I'm 22, been on hrt for about a year and a few months. Happy trail is gone, leg hair has diminished severely, same with arm hair. My facial hair has been getting patchy so I'm hoping laser should take care of the rest.
